"Shadow and light are two sides of the same coin. One cannot exist without the other." - The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

The same is true of learning. We learn from failure, from disruption, and from design thinking; all are embraced in successful organizations. Attendees of the 29th Annual Learning Conference join a community of organizational game changers with a common goal: learning faster and better, and creating cultures where people can connect ideas and learning to doing. Attending the conference may spark breakthrough ideas to foster innovation, add capacity to how your organization learns, and help you design resilient systems for humans and organizations. Whether you’re on level one of your journey to excellence, or you seem to have all the shortcut keys figured out, the ability to learn will help you level up!

Dr. Sanjay Sarma, Dean of Mechanical Engineering in his book Grasp-The Art of Learning declares that the purpose of adult learning is to 'promote curiosity'. No one class, regardless of the wide experiences of the facilitator and the deep capacity of the participants to 'absorb' all the information shared, can practically connect the principles taught to the practices needing to be used outside the classroom.

Education should be challenging, not difficult. It should be measured by the passion created in the participant to pursue the topic on their own rather than a multiple choice test at the end. During this highly interactive workshop, at least five different hands-on activities will be shared, each demonstrating specific principles and practices of performance improvement and error reduction techniques. Join us in getting your 'hands dirty' and your mind opened as we use the experiences in this workshop to widen your view of the opportunities for improvement in your experiences in the shop, field or office.
